During Monday afternoon the athletes had the possibility to learn more about the Royal Swedish Navy, both the Fleet and the 1st Marine Regiment.
Seyyed Hussain, a Special Marines from Karachi and an athlete in the Pakistan team, is looking at the equipments used by the 2nd Marine Battalion, such as Combat Boat 90 and armoured vehicles.
– It is exiting to be here. This is a new experience for me but I enjoy it fully, Seyyed says.
He and the others watches when a Combat Boat passes the pontoon.
– I like the weather, it is not so hot if you compare it to Pakistan. And we are served food that suits our tradition, Seyyed says before walking up to the BBQ at Berga Manor House.
On Tuesday the Championship starts with the Obstacle Race, Seyyed´s favourite track in Naval Pentathlon.
