This five days course (24th March-28th March) is specially designed to students who will participate in United Nation Force Headquarters and Sector Headquarters during the VIKING 14 Exercise. The course is based on UN Peacekeeping StandardsSpecialized Training Materials for Staff Officers (SO STM). Special module 6 which includes the Military Component Planning Process (MCPP).

Instructors are from Finland, Norway and Sweden. The 22 students are from Burundi, Comoros, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan and Uganda who all are from the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) who will form a core planning team for 2nd UN Brigade during the VIKING 14 Exercise. The 3 students from Macedonia will have staff positions in the United Nation Force Headquarters.
