UNSOC and UNCIVSOC at SWEDINT.

Monday 29 of September 45 students from fifteen different nations began studying at the UNSOC, United Nations Staff Officer Course at SWEDINT. The course is the second out of two courses for this year and is conducted under the umbrella of NORDEFCO, 2015 there will be three UNSOC, UNCIVSOC to attend. 

UNSOC is a three week course, consisting of lectures/ syndicate discussions and map exercises partly together with UNCIVSOC (United Nation Civilian Staff Officer Course) eighteen students from 11 different countries. The course finalized last week with an Integrated Staff Exercise (INSTEX) with multidimensional and integrated approach.
The students during this UNSOC are from Belarus, Denmark, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Mali, Norway, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Portugal, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine and Zambia.
